On the 16th of November, Evelyn Palace will release her album ‘to be cherished (Side A)’on Bound Centre. As the title suggests, ‘Side A’ is the first chapter in a very personal duology, with Side B following soon after. After 5 years of producing Evely Palace started to experiment with vocals and soon after she self-released her first two albums, ‘Centipede Castle’ (October, 2021) and Lilith (April, 2022).

With ‘to be cherished’ Evelyn shares a renewed version of herself. The entire album was written over a period of a year, with Side A being made last summer while recovering from heartbreak. This period of her life contains highs, lows, self-discovery, transformation and reflection. All this turmoil and newly found clarity is captured within these two chapters. The intergalactic-trap sound of her previous projects only partly remains, whilst influences from jungle, drum and bass and hip-hop are injected. In exploring her own sound Evelyn discovered a desire not to choose a single genre for Ms. Palace. What remains in the centre are ethereal vocals, celestial melodies and personal lyrics.
