On the 27th of January, 2023 we welcome you to Side B of 'to be cherished' by Evelyn Palace. With this second part of her very personal duology, we have the honour to introduce a side of Evelyn that has remained mainly in the shadows. Ms. Palace was producing music well before becoming a vocalist and those in the know won't be surprised by the wide range of genres she makes. Only the most investigative listeners however will be aware that her true niche is ambient and scenic productions. Early examples of this preference can be heard on alter egos like Purity Princess.

Evelyn likens Side A to a sunrise. It represents the cheerful, optimistic, and vibrant side of her persona. She made the first half of 'to be cherished' mostly in collaboration with other producers and rarely taped a vocal alone. Despite her departure from the intergalactic-trap sound from her previous albums, the same environment remains. This changes with Side B. Aside from one addition by another producer, this entire side was composed by Evelyn, in private and late at night. In her bed or the studio. It represents a sunset. Within these six songs, we find an effortless expression of the aforementioned through complex textures, ethereal melodies, and intimate spoken words. A side of Ms. Palace that we are thrilled to share with you all.
